Dance Academy

Classes specialising in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Performance, Technique and Choreography

The Dance Academy was launched in the autumn of 2003. The Academy is an ideal opportunity for senior/advanced pupils to further develop their dancing skills and potential.

The Academy is actively involved in performing and promoting dance within the region, and during recent years has participated in many local “dance platforms”, charity shows and prestigious events staged at such venues as the Minack Theatre, the Hall for Cornwall and the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth. A very happy atmosphere is enjoyed during classes and rehearsals, making the Academy a popular choice for keen dancers.

Students aged between 14 – 25 years with experience in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance are invited to join. Places are strictly limited but applications are currently being considered for the forthcoming term.

Classes held on Tuesdays 4.30 - 6.00 p.m. with teachers :

At last! - A Dance Academy for younger pupils (aged 10 – 13 years). Class held for junior academy pupils after the Saturday morning jazz class.
